Reference is made to the Notice of Two Factor Authentication login, mobile number and Email Address Registration given to you earlier. To enhance protection for clients’ accounts and assets in response to the latest guidelines laid down by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong regarding cybersecurity, Haitong International will soon enhance the security measures and implement two factor authentications login for all online trading platforms. Other than logging in with User ID and password, customers must input the one-time password (“OTP”) when accessing the online trading platform each time.
In line with the two factor authentication, “Power Futures”, “SPTrader Pro HD” and “Power Stock Options” are also upgraded. Please be reminded to download the latest version of such platforms from the website http://www.htisec.com/en-us/trading-channels by Friday, 30 March 2018. The old versions of the systems will cease to function since Sunday 1 April 2018.
*Note: The OTP will be sent to the primary mobile phone number which registered by client via SMS.
The company will further inform you of the matters regarding the guidelines on registration and login of the two factor authentication.
