Training & Development Specialist (1-year Contract)

Job Description:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on compliance and risk training needs analysis & curriculum development.
  • Organize training classes, including issuance of communication, handle course enrolment, registration, email notification, and logistics arrangement of training venue.
  • Coordinate with trainers/ speakers to ensure updating of compliance & risk training materials and assessment materials.
  • Assist in developing compliance & risk training guidelines and control measures, reviewing operation procedure manuals and other necessary control documents
  • Perform class delivery quality control according to internal control measures and ensure strict adherence to internal policies & operations control manual, etc.
  • Perform assessment completion control against course requirements.
  • Consolidate evaluation of classes and collect feedback on the quality and relevancy of training for continuous review and enhancement of training effectiveness.
  • Handle eLearning platform administration, and liaise with platform vendors in resolving problems if any.
  • Coordinate with Compliance Department on updating licensing CPT/D requirements for all license holders.
  • Maintain proper and accurate training record for all staff and license holders; and handle regular reports generation.
  • Handle enquires related to compliance and risk training and address training requests.
  • Prepare compliance and risk training completion monitoring reports/key indicators to facilitate control monitoring, report and resolve any potential compliance issues
  • Work with internal stakeholders to cultivate a strong risk and compliance culture with continuous education
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

We support local hire with solid relevant working experience in HK.

  • University graduate in any major preferably BBA, Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Legal & Compliance or HKSI or equivalent professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in compliance training.  Experience in working with external vendors on eLearning platform is preferred.
  • Good understanding of SFC-related regulatory requirements.
  • Detailed minded with strong risk and compliance sensitivity, analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is preferable.
  • Fresh University Graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered as Assistant.
  • Good Performer may be considered for permanent positions after 1-year contract.
