  1. How can I start using Bank of China epayment service?

    Step 1: Login through Taifook.com.
    Step 2: Access the epayment page through account enquiry.
    Step 3: Go back to Taifook epayment page which has been pre-set with customer login account with Taifook. Customers only need to provide their BOC iT's Banking login number and password.

  2. What is the transaction limit for using Bank of China Internet banking to pay for my securities transaction with Taifook

    The initial online transaction limit for the bank can be set up to HK$50,000 by customers. However, customers are required to visit their account opening bank branch to give written authorization to increase the transaction limit to HK$300,000. The bank daily maximum transaction limit for iT’s Banking customer is HK$1,000,000. This means that should a customer want to make a bill payment of HK$400,000 to Taifook, he has to perform 2 transactions, one for HK$300,000 and another for HK$100,000.

  3. Is Bank of China epayment service applicable to me if I am a Bank of China customer in China and Macau?

    No, this epayment service only applies to Bank of China Hong Kong customers. If customers from China and Macau want to use this service, they will have to open an account with Bank of China Hong Kong.

  4. Do I need to fax in the deposit slip or transaction records once I have completed the transaction?

    No, you need not fax in any transaction records to Taifook. But we do encourage you to print the transaction record for your own reference.

  5. What will happen if I login directly through Bank of China website? Can I perform bill payment to Taifook?

    We do not encourage customer to login directly through Bank of China website as you will have to be able to provide the bank with information that we have pre-set on Taifook.com epayment page. You may enter the wrong information and we will have difficulties tracing your transactions. If you make your bill payment directly through Bank of China website, you would be required to fax your transaction record and your account number to us for verification. Hence, please login through Taifook.com if you want to make bill payment from Bank of China Internet banking.

  6. What will happen if I have made a bill payment directly through Bank of China website? Will Taifook be able to trace my transaction?

    Should you make payment through Bank of China website, you will have to fax the transaction record to us (FAX: 2537-7647) and also provide us with your Taifook account number.

  7. Is this epayment service with Bank of China applicable to all other banks under the Bank of China Group?

    Yes, as long as the customer has opened an iT’s Banking (Internet banking account) with Bank of China Hong Kong. They are able to use this new service.

  8. When I make bill payment to Taifook, will my account be updated immediately?

    When customer makes bill payment to Taifook through Bank of China Internet banking, your account in Taifook will be updated real time. You can start trading the moment you transfer the funds to Taifook.

  9. Can I withdraw funds from my Taifook account using this epayment service?

    No, you are not able to withdraw funds from your Taifook account to IT’s banking account by using this service.

  10. Is there any time limitation on transferring funds through IT's banking service?

    Yes, you can make funds transfer from Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm. This service will be suspended on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
