Contract Specifications for Gold Futures:
- Denominated in US Dollars
- Contract size: 100 troy ounces
- Minimum fluctuation: US$0.1 per troy ounce
- Final settlement price: The final settlement price multiplied by the contract size
- Contract months include Spot month and the next two calendar months
- Contact settled in cash
Trading Hours
- Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- No lunch break
- If the last trading day is Christmas eve, New years eve or lunar new years eve and market close in the afternoon, the closing time is 12:00 p.m.
- The last trading day is the third last Hong Kong business day of the contract month.
- The final settlement day is the first business day after the last trading day
